"Pink Peony" on 20x20x 1.5 inch canvas
This gorgeous pink peony was painted in 2020, and inspired by a flower bouquet I bought from Trader Joe's. I've always loved roses but then up here in the PNW, I got to see so many live Peonies. They are so amazing and lovely. I worked on it off and on for a few months. You can see the layers of light and translucence that were built up. It is a glowing wonder to behold in person. It will light up any space.
